"Sure, but it's not going to get better. I've had surgeries." - In Jesus - 07-31-2012

I went for a walk tonight in the nice 37° Celsius (w/Humidex) weather at the park. On my journey on the 'Peace Mile' I saw a young woman jogging toward me with a brace around her left knee. I decided to flagged her down, haha. After finding out she had the brace on because she tore her ACL and then explaining what I do in the Lord Jesus, she let me lay hands on her knee and command healing to come. But first, her comment was "Sure, but it's not going to get better. I've had surgeries." I just humbly responded with, "Oh, well, we'll see." She responded nicely with "Ok." She had a pain of about a 2 out of 10. After prayer she said she would have to see after walking for a bit. I asked her to test it out and followed behind. She turned back and said that it was better but there was still definitely something still there. I prayed again and her response was "Yes, it is good. It's all better." I shared the gospel with her but she didn't seem to be interested quite yet, in spite of the fact that her leg just got healed. She was very thankful though and love never fails! More seeds sown. Thank you Lord!

"I Didn't Know You Could Do That" - In Jesus - 07-31-2012

I haven't blogged for a few days. I have stepped out on a few occasions but no significant healings manifested at the time of prayer but of course I am believing they will or have already recovered after I left them. I also got to bless a few people with some love gifts in the name of Jesus and shared the gospel with a few. No one immediately accepting the Lord either. Seeds planted! I just wanted to share one experience I had today:

Today I went to renew my parking pass and while waiting for the attendant to finish my renewal application I noticed the attendant next to him stretching his neck and looking to the ceiling with his eyes closed. I asked him if he was in pain, "Ohhh yes!", he said. I asked what happened he said that he had hurt it somehow. But I honestly forget how. I walked up to him and asked if I could show him something, asking for his hand right there in the middle of the office and commanded the pain to leave and his back and neck to be healed in Jesus' name. There were 5 others in the front office area working and as this was going on I noticed some of them looking on in curiosity, haha. It initially left 50% and I asked if I could pray again. He obliged and this time all the pain left. I explained why that was possible and shared the gospel with him loud enough for some of the others to hear. He said that he goes to church and was a Christian but also responded "I didn't know you could do that." I shared Romans 12:1-2 and John 14:12 with him.

Jesus you are wonderful!

Faith Supercharge!

Feast on this!

Romans 10:17
So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.

Matt. 18:19
Again I say to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

Matt. 21:21-22
So Jesus answered and said to them, "Assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but also if you say to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' it will be done. And whatever things you ask in prayer, believing, you will receive."

Mark 9:23
Jesus said to him, "If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes."

Mark 11:22-24
So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.

John 14:13-14
And whatever you ask in My name, that I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you ask anything in My name, I will do it.

John 15:7
If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you.

James 1:5-8
If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord; he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways.

1 John 3:22
And whatever we ask we receive from Him, because we keep His commandments and do those things that are pleasing in His sight.

1 John 5:14-15
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.

Pain Be Gone - In Jesus - 07-26-2012

For lunch today (I didn't take one to work) I ate some of the Father's food, John 4:31-34.

I first saw an elderly lady who was walking with a walker and her friend. I was across the street from them and noticed the light was green so I bolted to the other side. (Why did the Christian cross the road? To heal some broken lives? haha) I approached and explained my intention and they were delighted that I would do so. The elderly lady had pain in her knees and said she had her hip replaced when she was small as she had polio then. That was the reason she needed the walker. She said there was no pain in her hip though. Placing my hand on her left shoulder, in Jesus' name I commanded all pain and hindrances to her ability to walk perfectly to leave her body and by faith and the spoken word released the healing of Jesus into her knees and hip. She reported her left knee had no more pain but her right still did. I put my hand on her right knee and commanded it to be well. She reported it being better, but still something there. One more time, in Jesus' name I commanded it to be well and all pain to go and she reported all pain gone this time. She was very happy that I stopped to pray and heal her in Jesus' name.

I found that her friend had some lower back pain so I had her sit on a nearby structure making sure she was completely level and had her butt scooted all the way back. I explained the reason I was having her do that is because many times people with lower back pain will have a shorter leg and that is why they have the pain. She said "I do have a shorter leg!" I showed her that her left leg was shorter by 1/2 an inch. I commanded her left leg to come out in Jesus' name and it took 2 seconds and it was level with the other. She reported feeling a pulling when it happened. I asked her to checked her back but she said she didn't have pain there currently. Usually she would feel it in the morning when she would get up. To assure her I felt to place my hand on her back and commanded all bones in her spine to line up and cartilage to be whole. They were both Christian ladies and they both appeared to be very blessed and filled with joy. I sure was! Thank you Jesus!

Next I saw a woman at a bus stop and stopped to ask if she had any pain or sickness. She did not. She was a Christian too. I explained why I asked, and shared how the Lord just touched the two ladies a moment before. I encouraged her to step out and pray for others also. As I was almost finished talking with her I saw a man coming toward us and he had a brace on his knee. I said to her "Ok, well, I am going to go see if I could pray for this man coming toward us." Would you have guessed it? He was her boyfriend and was coming back to be with her. He reported a pain in his knee of about a 7 out of 10, with 10 being the worst. He let me pray and the pain went to about a 4 out of 10. I asked him to take off the brace and in Jesus' name, I again commanded healing in and pain to go. The pain went to a 2 out of 10. I prayed one more time and he reported the pain was gone. I had him try standing up without the brace and he said it was good. He put the brace back on though and I explained he didn't need that anymore. He wanted to wear it anyways. He said he was very encouraged by that and I also encourage him that he could do the same thing as well. He was also a Christian.

I started to head back to work and saw a woman in a wheel chair being pushed by two girls. I found that the woman had pain in her back and hip and the doctors didn't know yet what it was. She had just come back from the hospital as they were running tests. After prayer, pain was significantly reduced. I prayed again and she said it was all gone. I noticed that her color in her face seemed to be returning so I said that and the girls giggled which I assumed was from the joy we must have all been feeling. The woman in the wheel chair was smiling away. I wanted her to stand and try walking but the girls said the doctors didn't want her to until they knew what was up. I said I can respect that. I told her, "Well, now you can go back and tell them that Jesus healed you." Glory to God! They all seemed very encouraged. As was I! They were all Christians too.

I also got to pray for a girl at work tonight who had sprained her ankle. I knew about it for the last couple days but to be completely transparent and honest, I was somewhat fearing stepping out in front of all my co-workers and waited for a time when I felt comfortable to approach her. I was frustrated with myself for feeling that way and talked with the Lord about it on a number of occasions. I apologized to Him for feeling that way as in a way it felt almost like I was letting them or my job or more so fear to control me in this situation. I did not like it. Well, Jesus is faithful, patient and kind to me. He made an opportunity tonight. I got to pray for her but the pain in her ankle had only slightly disappeared. I feel as if I failed in this circumstance as I feel that if I had just stepped out when I had the opportunity to show the healing power of Jesus in front of numerous people at work, it had the potential for some great things. I feel I backed down and missed it letting fear and doubts to have a place in me. May I not do that again! I am learning and growing. Thankful for His patience!

Jesus You're glorious!!!

Customer Service Rep Healed Over the Telephone - In Jesus - 07-25-2012

Today I got to pray for a woman who was dealing with aches all over and a stuffed up head while talking with her over the phone. I commanded all the infirmity to leave and after speaking with her for a few more minutes I asked how she felt and she reported all aches had left her body and she sounded good and clear. Thank you Jesus!

I approached a few other people today but none of them wanted what I was giving away (Living water; John 7:38)

On a different topic, I really can't wait to meet our Lord face to face! <3

In Jesus - 07-24-2012

Today during lunch break I went for a walk again. First I met and got to pray with a man who said his wife (who was at home) had bad knees. He said he had just become baptized as a Jehovah Witness 2 weeks ago. They do not believe that miracles are for today so that was awesome and once he goes home to find her healed he will have something to think about when they tell him that. Thank you Jesus!

Next I met an elderly couple. The wife had her husband in hand and he was walking with a cane. I approached them and after explaining that I pray for people and God heals them and asking if I could do the same for them, he let me put my hand on his shoulder and command healing into his body, breaking off a 2 year diagnosis of Parkinson's disease. He reported feeling a tingling in his spine and said that he felt a difference when he walked. I declared that it was the Lord Jesus healing him and that it was not coming back. I could see that he knew the Lord as he agreed in the prayer with an "...in the name of our Lord." I blessed them and let them go. As I looked back in excitement (GOD is so GOOD! haha) I saw him walking with his cane held slightly up off the ground for many steps and when it was on the ground it didn't even look like he was putting any weight on it. Also as they stepped onto the road he had it held almost horizontal, which if anyone is having problems with walking I would certainly assume would be putting their cane down in that sort of situation. When I first observed them coming toward me, he seemed much more frail and unsure of himself and could tell he was using the cane much more. Parkinson's, you have got nothing, and no ground to stand on, in the presence of the kingdom of God in a believer (Luke 17:21)! Thank you Lord!

I then was back in the building almost done my lunch and met another elderly gentleman who was walking very frail looking. I approached him and he said he had a stroke. I explained what I do and he let me pray. He did not feel any difference or any noticeable change at that moment. BUT, believers shall lay hands on the sick and they SHALL recover, Mark 16:18. So, thank you Lord! I met one other elderly gentleman walking with a cane coming out of the washroom and asked if I could pray for him. He said no, but I put my hand on his back and blessed him and commanded strength into his body and bones. I asked him how he felt as he walked away. "Good!" haha. Thank you Lord!

Exiting the building on my last break of the evening I met a young teenage man. He was limping along and I approached him. He said he had just broke his toe. I asked him if it was painful at the moment. I believe he responded with "Oh yes, very much so." I explained that I pray for people and God heals them and he allowed me to do so for him. I did not put my hand on him, but instead only pointed at his foot, commanded the foot to be healed and all pain to leave, then tapped his foot with mine very lightly one time. He said it felt much better. I had him stand up on it to test it out and he stated "Yes, it is much better!" He also knew the Lord. I asked him if that encouraged him in the Lord and he agreed. I encouraged him also that we as Christians can all heal the sick. Sharing that Jesus gave us a command to heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead and cast out devils (Matt. 10:7-8). It is our privilege to set people free. I said it was almost as if we get to be superheros and go around healing people. His little sister was standing there watching the whole time. His mother came by and I explained that I had just prayed for him and Jesus took his pain away. I asked him again if the pain was gone and he said "Yes, it is almost all gone." I wrote down my blog website address and gave it to him as I asked him if he would like to learn how to do this, healing the sick, and he said "Oh yeah, definitely!" So, young man, if you are reading this right now, check out the below links to start out with. They are some of the very best teaching and teachers on this subject that I have gone through myself. They will help you learn how to walk as Jesus Christ our Lord did, how Peter, Paul, Stephen, Philip and other apostles and disciples did, and still do today, walking in the power of the Holy Spirit and in the love of God to set people free and to give people something to really put their faith in, not just words (1 Cor. 2:4-5, 1 Cor. 4:20). Partially Deaf Ear Healed - In Jesus - 07-23-2012

Hahaha, JESUS!!! Can you tell I am excited? He is so good!!

Walking on my way to work today I saw a man sitting in a wheel chair in front of the neighboring apartment block with who I assume was his significant other. I approached them and explained I am a Christian, and pray in Jesus' name for people and He heals them and offered healing prayer for them. The man indicated that he had problems with his knees. Pain would come into them and sometimes shoot down into his feet. He couldn't stand as they would give out on him. He let me lay hands on them and command them to be healed and all pain to go and not return. He reported feeling tingling in his knees and the pain was no longer there. He did not want to try standing though. I asked if they had any other issues and he said he had a crooked and bad back from when he used to drive derby cars. I laid hands, commanded his back to be healed in Jesus' name and he reported relief there but still did not want to stand up and try walking. He said he will try when they get back up into their apartment. I am thinking I should have grabbed him and made him stand and walk (working of miracles) but I did not think of that then. haha. Thank you Jesus!

During my lunch break I was feeling what I can best describe as a lack, or staleness and it made me feel discouraged and down for no real reason. I talked to the Lord, asking why I felt this way and asked if maybe it was time to go on to other things, and what those other things should be, etc. Well, the Lord met me with some encouraging love to my heart and a feeling of His manifest presence on my body. Thank you Father! You love so well.

I need to start this next encounter with a story from the past. A few months ago while on a very late evening break from work (it was already dark out) I met a man who had approached me quite aggressively. At that time he was walking around and yelling out to no one but said it was some security guards or cops or something. I assumed it was demons he was dealing with and offered to set him free from the voices, or from the demons. He did not let me pray for him, but started to come at me aggressively, with his hands clinched (if I remember correctly) saying, "I'll set you free from demons." I immediately started to command the devils to let him go, in Jesus' name. He said to me "Wow, impressive. Who are you? What church do you go to?" His countenance instantly changed and he started to walk away from me. He kept going as I kept telling them to leave him. I do not believe he was set free though, as I later heard him yelling again as I was walking back to work. Well, after feeling the Lord's encouragement in the above paragraph, I ended up meeting up with him again. He was standing there talking to himself. I approached him and asked him again if I could set him free. Reminding him of our first meeting. He would not let me pray for him again and was talking all kinds of nonsense. Saying Jesus was a scribe and asking me who I thought the Holy Spirit was and then telling me I was wrong when I told him. I am thinking I probably should have just commanded them to leave him again, but by the time I thought of that, we had already parted ways and had walked quite a ways apart from each other. I told them to let him go in Jesus' name in any case. I suspect I will meet him again.

As I continued on and was walking along side an old cathedral I met a woman walking with her elderly mother in hand. The mother had those dark terminator style glasses on so I assumed she was blind. I was wrong though. I explained I am a Christian and pray for people and God heals them. The young woman smiled and said "Sure, you can pray for my mother." I found that the mother had a problem with bad circulation in her left leg. She let me lay hands on her shoulder and command the veins to be healed and circulation to be restored. She said she would not know if it was better yet, but would after a time of walking. I blessed them and was about to leave but noticed the mother had a hearing aide in her right ear. I asked if I could pray for that too. She took out the hearing aide. I put my finger in her ear, with her permission of course, and commanded the parts of the ear to be healed and hearing to be restored. She reported an improvement but couldn't say how much. I put my finger there again and in Jesus' name I commanded away. haha. She reported more improvement. She let me pray one more time. I commanded any spirits of deafness or infirmity to leave, and more healing to be completed. She then said that she did not think she needed the hearing aide any longer!!!! Comeon JESUS!!! hahaha! Oh man, I am just so pumped right now!!! Wow, Holy Spirit goose pimples were all over me at this point. The mother lifted up both her arms in excitement and she had a nice grin on her face. I asked how the leg felt again just to see if she could tell a difference now and then she explained that previously her leg would feel like it was lagging or dragging behind so I asked if she thought maybe it was a problem with her hip. The daughter thought maybe it was. The mother then reported having problems in the past with it. I laid hands once more and commanded her hip to be healed, blessed them again, let them go, and then went on my MERRY way.

I got back to work and got to talk with a lady I work with on the way in. I found out she had problems with her thyroid and a few other things and she allowed me to command healing in Jesus' name on her too. I then told her what had happened with the lady with the partially deaf ear and other problems just 15 minutes before. She said, "Wow, well, I hope it works for me too!" She didn't report feeling any different yet, but didn't feel too bad at the time to begin with. She said she would let me know if she felt an increase in energy or any difference. I didn't get a chance to ask her if her energy had returned by the time the night was over but I am expecting so!

THANK YOU SO MUCH JESUS!!!

In Jesus - 07-22-2012

I had to work today so during my first break I went for a walk as I usually do. On my way back I was walking up to and beside a black women dressed in what looked like a nurses uniform. Once I got next to her for a step or two, I felt a tingling in my left foot. I wondered if it was a word of knowledge for her so I turned to her and said, "This is going to sound strange but do you have pain or a problem with your left foot?" She looked at me somewhat curiously and said, "No, why?" I explained, "I am a Christian and sometimes God will reveal a person's pain or sickness to me and I will pray for them and He heals them. So when I was walking here beside you I felt a tingling in my foot and wondered if that was for you." We talked for a bit and she mentioned that she knew the Lord Jesus and that He was her everything. I said, "He is so good, isn't He?" She said, "Oh yes. And He will give us anything we ask from Him if we believe, asking in His name, and not doubting in our hearts." (John 14:13-14, Mark 11:23-24). I then asked if she had any pain or sickness in her body and she said "Oh yes." After asking where or what it was, she reported having pain in her right side under her right arm. She let me say a quick (approx. 15 second) prayer over her as I put my hand on her shoulder and thanking the Father, then  commanding the pain to leave in Jesus' name. She reported the pain was completely gone. She wasn't even surprised, haha. She just said "Yep, it's gone." while moving her right arm around in circles. She asked me where I attend church and I told her that I haven't been going for about a year now but was thinking of going somewhere soon. She said she usually attends a catholic church but had to work today so she doesn't go on the Sundays she has to work. I proceeded to encourage her that she could do the same thing for others, laying hands on them and commanding them to be healed in Jesus' name and they would recover because Christ has all authority in heaven and earth and He gave us that command (Matt. 10:7-8, Matt. 28:18-20, John 14:12, etc). She said she used to do that for others. I encouraged her by saying "You should keep doing it!" She looked at me as if she was contemplation that statement, haha. We parted ways with a God bless you for each other.

Thank you Jesus, You ARE so good!!

In Jesus - 07-21-2012

Tonight I stopped in at Canadian Superstore (grocery store) for some sushi and before paying for my items, I noticed there was a big man with a cane and his wife at another til. By the time I got to mine, they paid for their items already and were on their way out. I hurried to pay for my stuff at the self help self pay cash register and met them at the exit. I walked up to them and asked him "Is it a bad back?" while pointing at his body. He explained he had arthritis, and pain in his hip, and his spine was being crushed due to his weight. I asked him if I could show him something and he said sure. I asked to take his hand and he gave it to me. In Jesus' name, I commanded pain, spirit of pain and arthritis to go, and commanded his spine and hip to be healed. He reported feeling heat in his spine and a reduction of pain when he tested it out by walking. His wife was already walking a bit ahead of us, so after one more quick prayer with my hand on his back and then saying I would let them go but that I would be willing to stay with him until it was all gone, he said "That is OK, I am feeling all better now." and then thanked me for stopping. He said "It is nice to meet a Christian man who is willing to stop and pray for others. There is too much busyness in the world. Everyone is in such a rush." Before we departed I got to share Romans 8:11 with him and to encourage him that we can also pray for ourselves for healing and that same Spirit who raised Christ from the dead who lives in us, shall also quicken our mortal bodies.

Thank you Jesus, Holy Spirit, and Father!

Worship Him in Spirit and Truth

Worship Him in Spirit and Truth
(John 4:21-24)

When I worship the Lord along with songs that say things like "I want you more" or "We want more of you" or "We want Your presence" etc, I like to change the words myself and sing them as "I want to know you more" or "We want to know more of you" or "Thank You for Your presence" etc. The reason being is how do you get more of the Holy Spirit, more of God, more of His presence, when He is living inside you, you are one spirit with Him and He will abide with you forever (Rev.3:20, 1 Cor.6:17, John 14:16-17), when He said He would never leave you (Deut.31:6, Matt.28:20, Heb.13:5) or when Paul, but the inspiration of the Holy Spirit says you are complete in Him (Col. 2:10)?

I think it is important we have the right mind set and say the right things to Him when we worship Him. Why is this important? Because correct knowledge is important to living as Jesus did, it is truth (John 8:31-32). Correct knowledge brings a correct identity and from a correct identity you will live correctly, from a correct identity you will live victoriously, in and through Him. How can you have or maintain correct knowledge and thus a correct identity when the words you say and sing don't even line up with the word of God (Prov. 18:21)?

A. W. Tozer once said, and I think it is true: "Christians don't tell lies – they just go to church and sing them"

I sometimes hear this sort of conversation when I or other Christians are singing these types of songs, or more specifically, tonight this is what I was hearing from the Lord on this matter as I worshiped Him:
Me: "I want more of you, Lord!"
Him: "I'm right here inside you, Chris. Just get to know Me better, know Me experientially, know Me exponentially."

Once I heard this, I started to incorporate this truth into what I was singing and soon began to flow in a beautiful spontaneous song that I truly felt was from His heart and I believe brought Him great joy, thus bringing me great joy. It was a wonderful moment with Him!

Now, as far as getting to knowing God more, this is biblical. And I will show you that below. Kenneth Wuest really brings out the meaning of the Greek words used for the knowledge of Him in the below passages that I would like to share which outline this wonderful truth. (Of course feel free to read them in their full context)

... that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of the glory, might give to you a spirit of wisdom and revelation in the sphere of a full knowledge of Him, the eyes of your heart being in an enlightened state with a view to your knowing what is the hope of His calling, what is the wealth of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, and what is the superabounding greatness of His inherent power to us who are believing ones as measured by the operative energy of the manifested strength of His might, which might was operative in the Christ when He raised Him from among the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, over and above every government and authority and power and lordship and every name that is constantly being named, not only in this age, but also in the one about to come.
Ephesians 1:17-21 (Wuest)

...until we all attain to the unity of the Faith and of the experiential, full, and precise knowledge of the Son of God...
Ephesians 4:13 (Wuest)

Because of this, we also, from the day we heard, do not cease on behalf of you offering our petitions and presenting our definite requests, that you might be filled with the advanced and perfect experiential knowledge of His will in the sphere of every kind of wisdom and intelligence which is spiritual, so that you may order your behavior worthily of the Lord with a view to pleasing Him in everything, in every work which is good constantly bearing fruit and increasing by means of the advanced and perfect experiential knowledge of God
Colossians 1:9-10 (Wuest)

...and having clothed yourselves with the new man who is constantly being renewed, with a resulting advanced and perfect experiential knowledge which is according to the image of the One who created him.
Colossians 3:10 (Wuest)

...to those who have been divinely allotted like precious faith with us by the equitable treatment of our God and Saviour, Jesus Christ. grace to you and peace be multiplied in the sphere of and by the experiential knowledge of God, even Jesus, our Lord. Seeing that all things to us His divine power has generously given, the things which pertain to life and godliness, through the experiential knowledge of the One who called us by means of His own glory and virtue, by means of which there have been generously given to us the precious and exceedingly great promises in order that through these you might become partakers of the divine nature, having escaped by flight the corruption which is in the world in the sphere of passionate cravings.
2 Peter 1:1-4 (Wuest)

Please have a look at Romans 12:2 by Kenneth Wuest in regards to the this truth. Wow, eh?!

And stop assuming an outward expression that does not come from within you and is not representative of what you are in your inner being but is patterned after this age; but change your outward expression to one that comes from within and is representative of your inner being, by the renewing of your mind, resulting in your putting to the test what is the will of God, the good and well-pleasing and complete will, and having found that it meets specifications, place your approval upon it.
Romans 12:2 (Wuest)

Did you know that you also worship Him (or something / someone else; IE an idol, or another person) with your body every day by how you live? To give to Him your body, to be His hands and feet, your mouth to speak His words, if you live holy, free from sin as you have already been set free, now a slave to righteousness instead (Rom. 6:17-23, Rom. 8:2) walking by the Spirit (Gal. 5:16-25), you are offering to Him reasonable/rational service, or worship.

Romans 12:1 speaks of this:
I therefore beg of you, please, brethren, through the instrumentality of the aforementioned mercies of God, by a once-for-all presentation to place your bodies at the disposal of God, a sacrifice, a living one, a holy one, well-pleasing, your rational, sacred service (Wuest)

To enforce this truth a little more, the Greek word for sacred service, or just service in most translations is latreia, and Thayer's Lexicon gives it the definition:
1) service rendered for hire
1a) any service or ministration: the service of God
2) the service and worship of God according to the requirements of the Levitical law
3) to perform sacred services

So, to worship the Father in spirit and truth is not only to say right words and have the right intentions that line up with what He says in His word when you sing songs to Him, but also to offer our bodies daily, as a living sacrifice, as a holy and pleasing offering to Him. And to worship Him in spirit and in truth will result in us living and walking more and more as Jesus did (1 John 2:6)!

Won't you worship Him in spirit and truth? :)

You ARE blessed!

"He who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches."

Great worship song!

Why All Christians Should Take Christ as the Healer of Their Bodies

Hello dear friends! I am really loving this classic below and wanted to share a small excerpt from within its pages to give you all a taste and maybe influence you on purchasing a copy for yourselves. I believe it is worth every penny I spent to obtain it for my own reading and mind renewal purposes. I hope it blesses you all and sets you more free to live the life and life more abundantly that Christ put inside each and every one of us as new creations in Him (John 10:10, 2 Cor. 5:17, Eph. 1:16-23, Gal. 2:20, Col. 1:27, 2 Peter 1:1-4).

Reason 1 of Six Great Biblical Reasons Why All Christians Should Take Christ as the Healer of Their Bodies

excerpt from Bodily Healing and the Atonement by Dr. T.J. McCrossan

Reason 1

Because God used to heal the sick, and He is an unchangeable God.
    (a) In Old Testament times, God was man's Healer.
In Exodus 15:26 KJV we read, "If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee."
In Exodus 23:25 KJV we read, "And ye shall serve the Lord your God ... and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee."
Psalm 103:3 KJV, "Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases." God is still forgiving sins, and He is still healing diseases, or else He is not the same God He used to be.
Some Bible teachers tell us the Psalmist is here only speaking of spiritual diseases. These all quote Psalm 103:4 KJV, "Who redeemeth thy life from destruction," and then say (Modern Religion — Healing, page 139), "Present time healing of a sick body does not redeem it from destruction, but healing the life or soul of the sin, disease, death, does redeem both body and soul from destruction, through the resurrection."
Now these friends are wrong for three reasons:
    (1) Because the word for "disease" in Psalm 103:3 KJV in the Septuagint is nosos. This word is used nine times in the Septuagint and twelve times in the New Testament, and it always refers to physical disease.
    (2) Because the word for "healeth" in Psalm 103:3 KJV in the Septuagint is iaomai. This word is used twenty-eight times in the New Testament, and always for physical healing.
    (3) Because the expression "who redeemeth" (Septuagint) is ton lutroumenon, the one constantly redeeming (the present participle middle of lutroō). The use of the present participle here teaches the blessed truth that God is now constantly employed keeping life in our bodies (keeping our hearts beating — something we have nothing whatever to do with). We know this redemption is going on now and does not refer to the Resurrection, because of what follows in the Septuagint. It literally reads, "The one redeeming thy life from destruction [decay], the one crowning thee with mercy and compassion, the one satisfying thy desire with good things." etc.
The use of the present participle here, as all Greek scholars know, brings out the blessed thought that God is right now constantly doing all these things mentioned. The redemption spoke of therefore, in Psalm 103:3 has nothing whatsoever to do with the Resurrection of the future, but tells us of something the Lord is now doing on our behalf.
Psalm 105:37 KJV, "He brought thee forth also with silver and gold; and there was not one feeble person among their tribes." Why? Because God was their Healer.
Psalm 107:20 KJV, "He [God] sent [forth] his word, and healed them ...."
    (b) In the New Testament times, God was man's Healer through the Lord Jesus Christ, God in the flesh.
Matthew 9:35 KJV, "And Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching ... and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people." Note, Christ preached and healed publicly.
Then Mark 6:12 KJV informs us that Christ, God in the flesh, gave power to His disciples to heal the sick. Mark 6:12-13 KJV says, "And they [the disciples] went out, and preached that men should repent. And they cast out many devils, and anointed with oil many that were sick, and healed them." Note, these disciples, like their Lord, also held great preaching and healing campaigns.
Has God changed, or is He the very same God today that He was in the Old and New Testament times?
In Malachi 3:6 KJV we read, "For I am the Lord, I change not."
In Hebrews 13:8 KJV we read, "Jesus Christ the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever." The Greek expression here for "the same" is ho autos, and means the very same identical person in every respect.
Again, James says (James 1:17 KJV), "Every good gift [including the gift of healing] ... is from above, and cometh down from the Father of lights, with whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." The Greek word here for "variableness" is parallagē.
Here, then, James declares that God does not change even slightly. Now, God used to be:
    (1) Jehovah-shammah — "The Lord ever present."
    (2) Jehovah-jireh — "The Lord our provider."
    (3) Jehovah-nissi — "The Lord our banner."
    (4) Jehovah-shalom — "The Lord our peace."
    (5) Jehovah-raah — "The Lord my shepherd."
    (6) Jehovah-tsidkenu — "The Lord our righteousness."
    (7) Jehovah-rapha — "The Lord that healeth." (Exod. 15:26 KJV)
All admit that God is still:
Jehovah-shammah — "The Lord ever present."
Jehovah-jireh — "The Lord our provider."
Jehovah-nissi — "The Lord our banner."
Jehovah-shalom — "The Lord our peace."
Jehovah-raah — "The Lord my shepherd."
Jehovah-tsidkenu — "The Lord our righteousness."
Then, beloved, He is still Jehovah-rapha — the Lord our Healer, for James 1:17 KJV declares, "With [Him] is no variableness" (He does not change even slightly); or, as Hebrews 13:8 KJV expresses it, "Jesus Christ [God] the same yesterday, and to day, and for ever."
Since God (Christ) is just the same today as in the past, we ought to expect Him to have the same healing power.

Where I'm At & In Jesus - 07-14-2012

Where I'm At:

The last couple days I have been letting myself get discouraged. The reason is that throughout the week I had stepped out on 3 different occasions to pray for and heal people and did not see the full manifestation of healing at that time and I believe I was letting the lies of the enemy get to me. I also would dwell on what I had not seen instead of what I had seen and thanking the Lord for that. As well, my focus was not on the fact that I was loving on some people, and regardless if they get healed or not, love never fails! (1 Cor. 13:8)

Of the three different occasions, one person felt no change at the time after commanding Dystonia and a head cold to leave his body (a new friend and brother in Christ). One felt the peace of God on her (a lady at Superstore), but was not healed of a crooked and hunched spine and broken hip. The other fellow, I got to share the gospel with in depth and talked to for a couple hours, and then got to pray for and command his leg to grow out and back again as they were of equal length. Just a tad though, maybe 1/16 of an inch, and he himself couldn't see or feel it as I guess it was to miniscule from his perspective. I had wanted to provide a miracle or sign for Him to be able to put his faith in the power of God instead of only words (1 Cor. 2:4, 1 Cor. 4:20). He did report that he had problems (arthritis) with his hip though and after some prayer, felt some relief from pain but still reported quite a bit there. So it wasn't like I wasn't seeing anything going on, but the thoughts I was having were "Why have I not been seeing the greater works Lord? What am I doing wrong? Am I doubting? Why aren't they healed right away? I am expecting right away! It seems like I am going backwards and not forwards to greater things." etc... Because of the discouragement I had let in, I had decided to stay home from ministering to people on the streets on Friday night with a group of friends I have been meeting with lately.

Well, I'm feeling better! Even though it should not be about feeling. We walk by faith, not by sight (2 Cor. 5:7). I have been refocusing on what God has been doing and has done, and the fact that I am planting seeds and loving on people. Also, next time I will try to do as Smith Wigglesworth used to do:
Wigglesworth Quote: I never ask Smith Wigglesworth how he feels; I tell him how he feels!

In Jesus - 07-14-2012:

Today as I left my building on my way to go for a walk, I found that someone had put a nice scratch in the driver side rear door of my vehicle with what looks like a key. So, after I finished my walk I decided I would go to the Police station to report the act of vandalism as that is a requirement here when doing an insurance claim. While I was at the Police station I decided to go to a park that I hardly ever go to in that area to read my Bible and a book I had bought a while ago called Bodily Healing and the Atonement by Dr. T. J. McCrossan (click link or see amazon link below and consider getting it. It is supposed to be one of the best!). While reading at a secluded area on the side of the Red River, a man came by and we got to talking. I was able to share truth to a number of things he had some questions about (ghosts, ufo's) as well I got to share the Gospel. After asking him if he had any pain or sickness, he reported had injured his ankle about 6 months ago and fell on his shoulder and cracked his collar bone 2 months ago and both were giving him problems (pain and swelling in ankle and clicking and pain in his shoulder). I got to command healing for both and while I had my hand on his shoulder it actually popped once on it's own and pain was reduced significantly. Very cool! First time for that for me, hehe. The ankle also was doing much better as he continued to report as we talked more. He said after speaking with me for 2 hours that he really believes that he was supposed to come there today to talk to me. :) Thank you Lord! He did not want to accept the Lord at that time though... Open his heart Lord! The funny thing too is if someone had not keyed my car, then I would not have been there either, so take that devil! Hahaha!

In Jesus - 07-09-2012

Today as I lay in bed I was awoken by the sound of a door being repeatedly opened and closed in my hallway. I lay there slightly frustrated and thinking, *UGGGHHH! Why all the slamming???* I think *Well, it can't go on forever, I'll just lay here and wait* It continues... I asked the Lord a rhetorical question "What are they doing??" I then saw a quick image in my mind's eye of a man's right leg being bent back and forth. In the vision I was telling a man "If you do this, it will help." and then I thought I was commanding healing for his leg. I jump out of bed put on some clothes and head out the door. The door to the storage room opens as I approach it and he is startled slightly. Very politely, I ask if it was him moving stuff in and out of there.
"Yes, why?"
"Well, I was just laying in bed and heard you and wanted to suggest that you could put a door stop here to hold it open and that would help."
"Oh, sorry about that."
"That's ok. This might sound strange but do you have pain or a problem in your leg or knee?"
With a puzzled look on his face "No, why?"
"Well, I am a Christian and sometime God will reveal a person's pain or sickness. Then I can pray for them and He heals them. And while I was laying there thinking 'What is going on out there?' I had an image of a person's right leg and wondered if that was for you."
"No, I don't but incidentally I do have a pain in my right foot."
"Can I show you something?"
"Oh, um, I have to go."
"It will only take a second. Here let me show you. Give me your hand."
He hesitantly gave me his hand and I command the pain to go in Jesus' name. I ask him if it is better and he moves it around. It is slightly better. I point at his foot and repeat the command, this time to leave 100%. He smiles and indicates it has improved some more. He thanks me and turns to leave. I let him go this time.

Even though he was in a rush and seemed to not want to talk, I feel I should have stopped him for just a few more minutes and explained who Jesus was and why that was possible. Hopefully I will meet him again. If not, Holy Spirit will pursue him. I don't think I need to worry too much.

Healing and Prayer

If we are going to pray to God before and/or when we go to heal someone, I believe this is how we ought to do it:

Then they took away the stone from the place where the dead man was lying. And Jesus lifted up His eyes and said, "Father, I thank You that You have heard Me. And I know that You always hear Me, but because of the people who are standing by I said this, that they may believe that You sent Me." John 11:41-42

This may well be what Paul did and said in the below instance as well:

In that region there was an estate of the leading citizen of the island, whose name was Publius, who received us and entertained us courteously for three days. And it happened that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and dysentery. Paul went in to him and prayed, and he laid his hands on him and healed him. So when this was done, the rest of those on the island who had diseases also came and were healed. They also honored us in many ways; and when we departed, they provided such things as were necessary. Acts 28:7-10

I believe the prayer is to reveal to the hearers where the healing is coming from, and giving Him thanks for what has already been provided and is to be.

Additionally, we need NOT to beg God for healing us or someone else when He has said that that is who He is in one of His very own redemptive names 'Jehovah Rapha, the God who heals you' Exodus 15:26. We do not need to beg for healing when He repeatedly says that He will do so even in the old testament and covenant (Exodus 15:26, Psalm 103:3, Psalm 107:20, Jeremiah 30:17). The fact is, for us today, Jesus already paid for all the pains, sicknesses, and diseases which may come on us, just as much as He has our salvation, in what is referred to as the atonement, first prophesied some 700 years before the Word, Jesus the Christ, was made manifest:

He is despised, and left of men, A man of pains, and acquainted with sickness, And as one hiding the face from us, He is despised, and we esteemed him not.
Surely our sicknesses he hath borne, And our pains -- he hath carried them, And we -- we have esteemed him plagued, Smitten of God, and afflicted.
And he is pierced for our transgressions, Bruised for our iniquities, The chastisement of our peace [is] on him, And by his bruise there is healing to us.
All of us like sheep have wandered, Each to his own way we have turned, And Jehovah hath caused to meet on him, The punishment of us all. Isaiah 53:3-6 (YLT)
blueletterbible.org Isaiah 53 (YLT)

...And then fulfilled during His first coming as testified by Matthew and Peter in the new testament and covenant:

When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: "HE HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES AND BORE OUR SICKNESSES." Matthew 8:16-17

...who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed. 1 Peter 2:24

We need but only believe and receive, thanking Him for already doing so as His word declares.

We may have the sense knowledge of the pain or infirmity within our bodies at the time, but we do not walk by the senses, we walk by faith, not by sight (2 Corinthians 5:7). We need only enforce the healing already provide for by declaring, commanding and appropriating that which has already been paid for by our wonderful Savior, Healer and Lord, some 2000 years ago.

Speak to that pain, sickness or disease and command it to be cast into the sea! Matthew 21:21-22, Mark 11:23-24. Thank Him and praise Him for the manifestation of the healing that He has already made good in His word and now soon to be in your body and soul! And keep doing it!

"God is not a man, that He should lie, Nor a son of man, that He should repent. Has He said, and will He not do? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good? Numbers 23:19

Amen?

...prove what is the good and perfect will of God

Church, people of God, saints, we must be lights to this dark and dying world. We must be beacons of hope, of truth, of the love and life of God. A testimony of the power of God. We must share the gospel, but not in word only, but in power also, in healing, signs and wonders. Men and women must see that He is real and turn from their sins to Him to receive the reconciliation we have received. They must come to know Him and be known by Him, love Him and be loved by Him, or they will perish! We have Jesus Christ with us wherever we are and He will never leave us. We have the Holy Spirit in us, one with our spirit, and He does not leave nor does His power and presence to heal wax and wane. We have been commissioned to teach the truth, the way, the life that is Jesus Christ and Him crucified, resurrected and the great hope of His soon return and the reconciliation to God with His free gift of forgiveness and righteousness, so that we might walk as He did and lead others to do the same.

If you are not seeing God working with you, confirming His word with signs and wonders following, if you aren't seeing what Mark (Mark 16:15-18) says about the signs which follow believers, then you need to get your mind renewed and start living the divine LIFE you have already been given and that which lives inside of YOU.

I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, which is your reasonable service. And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may PROVE what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Romans 12:1-2

Then Jesus said to him, "Unless you people see signs and wonders, you will by no means believe." John 4:48

And my speech and my preaching were not with persuasive words of human wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, that your faith should not be in the wisdom of men but in the power of God. 1 Corinthians 2:4-5

For the kingdom of God is not in word but in power. 1 Corinthians 4:20

To those who have obtained like precious faith with us by the righteousness of our God and Savior Jesus Christ: Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue, by which have been given to us exceedingly great and precious promises, that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust. 2 Peter 1:1-4

A good place to start, or continue where you left off, is with some biblically clear teaching on walking as Jesus did and ridding your minds of the traditions and lies that have kept us as a body, by and large, powerless... It is our birthright, it is our calling!

In Jesus - 07-01-2012

Tonight I stopped off to get some honey garlic wings and some chicken pieces before heading over to watch the fireworks. I met Michael who had been in a truck accident. His left arm was slightly bent upward and his hand was stuck in a closed position. He also seemed to have a bit of a limp. I approached him, his significant other and their two children and said "Hi, I pray for people and God heals them. Would I be able to do that for you?" Also asking what had happened. They allowed me the privilege. In Jesus' name, I commanded healing to his brain, nerves, muscles, tendons and ligaments, while laying my hand on his shoulder. There was no immediate noticeable change. I continued to command for a few more minutes and asked if I could straighten out his hand and arm. He said "Sure, if you can". It seemed to open up fairly easily but when asked if there was still any change, he said there wasn't. I also laid hands on the back of his head and neck and commanded healing and restoration. They said they have faith for his healing and always believing for it. I told them about how there are times I have prayed for others and nothing noticeable happened at the time but later I've talked with the people and it had happened after leaving them. So it is not always instant. Although, instant is what I am expecting and believing for every time. I told them I would keep my faith active and continue praying for them. I explained too that my faith, trust in the Lord, and belief for miracles, was growing and that I have not seen the completely lame walking yet, but I will! I let them go. They were thankful. I was too for the opportunity.

Thank you Lord for Michael's complete healing and wholeness!
