I was out for a walk in the park tonight and had a desire to get some cheese to have on these sirloin burgers I bought yesterday from Shoppers Drug Mart, so I stopped in at Walmart on my way home. I love 24 hour Walmart! :) I got wayyyy more than I planned, as usual.
Anyway, I was walking down the meat isle with my hands full (I never grab a basket or cart! I so should!) and stopped as something caught my eye. As I was looking, a man who worked there asked me what I was looking for as if to help me. I said I was just looking to see what kind of almond milk they had. I said thank you for asking, didn't get any, and continued on. I got about half way down the isle and I heard him sneeze and start coughing into his shirt. He sounded very sick and phlegm-y. I thought *I should go pray for him. I pray for myself and colds always leave. I should go do the same for him!* I turned back toward him, approached him, and asked if I could do something for him. I asked if I could pray for him, explaining that I was a Christian and that I pray for myself whenever I start to get a cold and it goes away. I explained that Jesus had paid for all our sickness and disease and when you are a Christian He lives in you, that He said "All authority in heaven and earth has been given to Me" and that when we pray for people, we are giving Him a chance to heal people through us. He said "That's right" and nodded his head in agreement. He knew the truth. He let me pray for him. I put my hand on his shoulder and in the name of Jesus I commanded the cold to leave him, and the symptoms to go. It was like a 10 second prayer. I asked him how he was doing and he said he felt better. I suggested that he take a really deep breath. He did so and it was all clear! YAY JESUS!! haha!
I left after paying for my food and saw him outside taking a break. I asked him how he was feeling and he replied "good!"
You're so cool Jesus!!! I love You!!!
